Our approach

Four principles, no shortcuts

  • Free, and honest about its limits

The free tier is a limited version of the paid tier. Its limits are published and shown in the application, and any change is announced at least 30 days in advance.

  • Nothing about you

Your account is a random 16-digit number: no e-mail address, no telephone number, no name. On the server side, the objective is to keep no activity or connection logs.

  • A proven protocol

The tunnel relies on the WireGuard® protocol, used as it is, without modification. We do not invent our own cryptography.

  • Evidence, not slogans

Each promise corresponds to a measurable criterion (C1 to C14). Until a criterion has been measured, and audited where security is concerned, it remains shown as ‘not proven’.

How it will work

Three steps, no forms

  • Install the application

On Windows, macOS, Linux, Android or iOS, from our site or the official stores, once the applications have been published.

  • Receive your account number

The application generates a 16-digit number. Write it down: it is your only identifier, and we cannot recover it for you.

  • Connect, then check

Choose a country, connect, and run ‘Check my protection’ to check your IP address and the absence of DNS, IPv6 and WebRTC leaks for yourself.

Free tier

What the free tier will include

Limits decided by KAYZEN on 31 October 2026. They will apply as soon as the service opens.

  • 10 GB per 30-day period, then the connection is cut until the next period
  • 8 countries at launch (list to be published)
  • 1 device
  • K-Shield DNS filter included
  • Peer-to-peer reserved for the paid tier
  • Speed not guaranteed at peak times

Our commitments

What we rule out

  • No advertising and no data resale, in the free tier as in the paid tier.
  • No advertising, audience-analytics or third-party crash-reporting SDK in the applications.
  • No feature presented as available until it is.
  • No promise to unblock streaming platforms.
  • No ‘unlimited free’: our free tier has limits, and we publish them.
  • No legal advantage claimed: KAYZEN is based in France, a member country of the intelligence alliance known as the ‘14 Eyes’.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us

Is Kayzen VPN available yet?

Soon. The applications for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS will be published on this site and on the official stores. In the meantime, discover our commitments and the limits of the free tier.

Why would a free VPN be trustworthy?

Because the free tier is not paid for with your data: there is no advertising and no resale. It is the subscriptions to the paid tier that are meant to fund the bandwidth of the free tier. The ‘Funding’ page will publish the figures once they have been measured.

Do I need an e-mail address to create an account?

No. Your account will be a random 16-digit number generated by the application. We ask for no e-mail address, no telephone number and no name.

Does Kayzen VPN let me watch foreign streaming catalogues?

We do not promise that. Streaming platforms often prohibit this workaround in their terms, and we will never present this use as a feature.

Does KAYZEN being in France protect my data?

We claim no advantage of that kind. France is part of the intelligence alliance known as the ‘14 Eyes’. Our protection rests on technical design: not collecting data, rather than relying on a jurisdiction.

Follow the project, check our promises

The fourteen Kayzen VPN criteria are public, together with their status. None of them is presented as achieved before it has been measured.
